The resistance structure is considered the best support structure of “I” beams (extended steel I-beams), a design recommended as “the best practice” by the most competent international authorities in the fields of transport and road and bridge construction (the road scale being assimilated to a bridge structure). Also, the design of the FLINTAB platform excludes closed spaces where excessive humidity can initiate corrosion processes from the inside out.

The deck height is only 24cm and the ground clearance is a maximum of 10cm. The metal structure is at least 20% heavier than any other competing scale, with a direct effect on a real measured arrow better than 1:700. Any other support structure, used by many other manufacturers, to reduce the amount of metal on the platform, and thus the price, immediately leads to two negative effects:

A high deck height (almost double!) with a direct effect on the long length of the ramps: high construction costs / large volume of concrete and waste of space;
Indirectly, the lack of high side beams, which provide total protection against the truck skidding sideways from a height of approximately 50cm.

ROAD OR FLAT CONCRETE PLATFORM FOR HEAVY TRAFFIC

Concrete slab thickness > 25cm. Flatness deviations < 5mm. On this surface, the support elements of the special load cell mounting kits are installed - using M16 bolts with chemical fixation. Prefabricated ramps.

PIT FOUNDATION - Installation in the tank

Pan-mounted scales are recommended in the following cases:

the available space is very limited
it is also allowed to cross the platform from the side
there are height restrictions in the installation area
