CHOOSE INSTALLATION PLACE

• Although the vast majority of Truck Scales are installed in the immediate vicinity of the main access gate, the place of installation is chosen according to the logistical process of the freight flow by minimizing the number of maneuvers performed by drivers. Pay attention to the scale of the scales and the turning radii for the correct framing on the scales. All motor vehicles or vehicle assemblies return in a circular crown with an outer radius of 12.5m and an inner radius of 5.3m.

FIXED OR RELOCABLE INSTALLATION?

• It is the answer to the length of time the road scale has to operate in the chosen installation location: fixed means years or decades, relocable means months or decades.

OVERHEAD OR TUB INSTALLATION?

• In the FLINTAB portfolio, over 95% are above ground scales. Tank-mounted scales are only recommended in the following cases:
  • available space is very limited
  • it is also possible to cross the platform from the side
  • There are height restrictions in the installation area.

• 60t or 80t? 60t for general use, 80t only for stone quarries.
